Current Fundraising Efforts
- Eco-Phones--We found a fundraiser that helps us generate support year-round and is good for the planet! Now collecting used or unwanted WORKING OR NOT WORKING personal-use electronics for recycling and get paid to do so. Call or email us if you have any of the following items to donate:
- cell phones
- laptop computers
- iPods
- digital cameras
- digital video cameras
- inkjets
- Rummage Recycle Sale--We are planning a rummage sale for the first or second Saturday in October. We are accepting gently used clothing, small appliances, books, toys, bric-a-brac, sports equipment, electronics, linens, or anything of value. WE CANNOT ACCEPT DONATIONS OF LARGE OR BULKY ITEMS! If you have large or bulky items to donate, we will be accepting those after October 1.
- Urban Market--Look for our booth every Thursday night from 4-8 PM at the Quad City Botanical Center's Urban Market. We are selling art and crafts, as well as distributing information on Royal Neighbors, the Poetry Street Project, and the Heat Native America Fund. Buy a copy of the Poetry Street Project's first issue (only a few copies left!), get free souvenirs, make a donation or drop off an item for our other fund-raisers. Or just come on by to visit!
- Unity Fest--Look for us at the Unity Fest in LeClaire Park in Davenport on September 26 and 27. Come and celebrate the diversity of the Quad Cities with food, entertainment, music, art, shopping, and fun for the whole family!
- Other Stuff--We are always accepting donations of gently used clothing which will go to area homeless shelters or Native American families in need.
